Fiber to Fabric
Held at the Desoto Arts Council, 660 W. Commerce St., Hernando, MS
October 2, 2010 10:00am to 3:00pm (last year was a little cool, so we
moved it to the beginning of the month!)
An educational and fun event for everyone. There will be Lamas, alpacas,
fiber goats and angora rabbits which are wonderful fiber animals whose
fiber is in great demand by the fiber artist. Come meet and learn about
these wonderful animals and learn what their fibers are used for.
There will be demonstrations of fiber processing, spinning, weaving and
felting. We will show how the fiber is washed, carded and dyed into great
colors.
Come visit, learn and have a fun!
